What First Drew You to Yoga and Why?

I Remember taking a yoga class and hearing the instructor say, “there’s nothing to do, and nowhere to go. “ I was hooked then and there! I was about 23 at the time. 30 years later, I’ve got an inkling of what that means. Radical acceptance of myself as already and always whole and complete, without adding anything or taking anything away. This helps balance my enthusiastic, always on the go, fiery nature. I love the practices of yoga!

What Do You Find Most Satisfying About Teaching?

I love teaching yoga as it helps me to dig deep inside myself. From that deep place I help others access their own hearts. I love the relationships that develop in the classroom.

I love watching everyone blossom and relax into their own true nature.

What Do You Find Most Satisfying About Teaching? It is so much FUN!

Favorite Class to Practice Right Now and Why

I love to practice Yoga Nidra. Learning to inhabit the state of conscious deep sleep is so relaxing!

My nervous system thanks me daily. Relaxation Master teacher is my new passion and how I plan to sustain my teaching practice till I die of old age.

Don’t be discouraged by your incapacity to dispel darkness from the world. Light your candle and step forward -Amma

Michele B instructs the following:
  • Restorative/Yin (non-heated)
  • Restorative and yin yoga are practices designed to reduce the effects of chronic stress, lengthen connective tissues, induce a deep state of relaxation and healing, and restore your body's nervous system. Typically, your body is supported with props and postures are held for several minutes at a time to create lasting changes. Each class sequence will move your spine in all directions, massage your internal organs, and give you an opportunity to create space and stillness in both the body and the mind. There are incredible physiological benefits to these practices, including improved flexibility, mobility, digestion, mood, immune system functioning, and sleep. These classes are also designed to help you release habitual tension patterns so that you may think, feel, and behave more intentionally in your life.
